When does the challenge take place?

In autumn.

The Bebras challenge takes place once a year, usually in November. The precise dates are published in August at the latest.

Where does the challenge take place?

At school.

The Bebras challenge takes place online on school computers, under the supervision of a teacher. You can test a Bebras challenge online from home.

How long does the challenge last?

40 minutes.

During this time, participants must answer between 13 and 16 questions, depending on their category which depends on their school level.

Is there a fee for participating in the challenge?

No.

Participation in the Bebras challenge is completely free.

Is a minimum number of pupils required to organise the challenge?

No, there are no restrictions.

You can also organise the Bebras challenge simultaneously for pupils from different classes or school levels.

Can we register several classes?

Yes, of course.

You can register several classes from the same school or even from different schools, if you teach in several schools.

Via your teacher.
